Welcome...I am an artist in love with Tuscany.
I came to Florence to attend the Accademia di Belle Arti and have never left except for short painting trips,
having fallen in love with
both the city and region. What I find so beautiful about this area is the light.
I love painting in plein air, especially in Tuscany's magical
late afternoon light. I've been drawing since
a child in Canterbury, England, where I grew up, and my traditional realistic interest in drawing
and painting
naturally lead me to Florence, the artistic center of the Renaissance. Painters who have influenced my technique
