Welcome...I am an artist in love with Tuscany.
I came to Florence to attend the Accademia di Belle Arti and have never left except for short painting trips,
having fallen in love with both the city and region. What I find so beautiful about this area is the light.
I love painting in plein air, especially in Tuscany's magical late afternoon light. I've been drawing since
a child in Canterbury, England, where I grew up, and my traditional realistic interest in drawing and painting
naturally lead me to Florence, the artistic center of the Renaissance. Painters who have influenced my technique
include John Singer Sargent and Sir Fredrick Lord Leighton for Portraiture and Corot and Claude Lorrain for  Landscape ...

When visiting Florence you are welcome to visit my studio in the center of Florence at  via della Pergola 8r.
